Dear Autodesk Team,
First of all, I would like to express my appreciation for the great work on Revit. As a dual student, I regularly work with various CAD and BIM programs and find Revit to be technically outstanding and very enjoyable to use.
However, compared to other programs, I have noticed some design-related aspects that could be improved. In particular, the following features would significantly enhance the workflow:
- Color Picker Tool: A function to quickly copy colors, similar to those found in graphic design software, would greatly improve efficiency.
- Crop Tool for Images: The ability to crop images directly within Revit, without the need for external editing, would be a valuable addition.
- Transparency Settings in “Overrides” and Families: It would be helpful to have more precise transparency control, not only in object overrides but also within families, to allow for more flexible visual representations.
- Alignment of Patterns in Fill Regions: More control over the positioning of hatching and material fill patterns would improve graphical presentation and accuracy in design layouts.
I would love to see these suggestions considered for future updates. Thank you for your work on Revit and for continuously improving the software!
