Deleting a parameter used in a formula - window

Deleting a parameter used in a formula - window

In Revit, there is a bunch of useless pop-up windows.

But when deleting a parameter that is used in a formula, we don't get any information, and that can break Families, as shown in the video:

We should get an pop-up that we are about to delete a INSERT_PARAMETER_NAME_HERE.

Also, I think that the value of the parameter should stay after the parameter is deleted:

example:

# Parameter still available:

#Parameter (in this example "Luft Lima") deleted and its last value transferred to the formula:

*If it's an Instance parameter, the last current value should be set, but if it's a Type parameter, the value should vary by type.

Agreed, if you delete a parameter that is used elsewhere in a formula it should give a warning, and if you decide to delete it anyway it should replace the parameter name within the formula with the current value so that the entire formula is not wiped from existence.

The number of times I have created parameters and then later removed them as they are not actually required but I select the wrong one and delete and then a bunch of formulas get vanished is quite annoying.
