Curtain wall material type parameter

For a project we use many generic models for elevation parts in towers. In a schedule i can select all of them at once to change the material.

But if i want to change all the windows (curtain walls) i cant change the material because only the mullions have a material property, so i have to select each mullion type to change the material!

Trying to create a project parameter which reads the mullion material (which i can) but cant change in a schedule because the curtain walls are in groups.

Is it possible to create a material type parameter for curtain walls, railings, etc??

Kimtaurus, and what would Object styles exactly do?

Its not a style i want to change but the actual material so i can render different materials. The architect wants to see different color combinations in renders of the building.

In Object Styles you can set a default material for the Mullions. This material will also be used for rendering.

Actually never use the default material column because we mostly use more then one material in walls, etc.

This way its very fast, but still can't change family type curtain wall materials, have to go one lever deeper to change the mullion material parameter.
