curtain wall location line

curtain wall location line

Currently we have no choice with curtain wall location lines and i'm constantly entering an offset from my slab edges before drawing. 9 times out of 10 the curtain wall ends up facing the wrong way and i then need to select and flip each one.
Please add the ability to at least choose 'finish face : interior/exterior' for location line when drawing curtain walls.

And (also for Basic Wall) to make it possible to change "the default" Location Line settings. We use rarely "Wall Centerline".

Would vote for this as well.

this needs to be changed. regardless of popularity. Also please reconsider popularity as a deciding factor. Its NOT working.

Wall centerline, a factor of wall thickness that varies per finish and circumstance, is NEVER used in any profession that uses revit. Making it default was a horrible decision that is now 10+ years old.

When used in curtain walls it affects the panels that are substituted. What happens is EVERY panel needs to be adjusted in offset. sometimes to a 256 of an inch.

I absolutely vote for this as well. I totally agree with @SLuceWUHBM and all above comments since yr 2016 (including archived comments)
