Copy From Earlier Release to a Later Release

Copy From Earlier Release to a Later Release

Working with several releases of Revit becomes challenging when one would like to copy project specific notes or legends from an earlier release to a later release project as it would save a great deal of time. Looking for at least a workflow solution. Currently, I have to upgrade the former to copy to the later.

For 'specific notes', you should be able to copy the text content from Revit into Word, then from Word copy and paste into any version of Revit.  For legends, you can likely copy the content into an Annotation Family, then load that Family into any future version of Revit.  If you are using Rushforth Tools, that also has a way to copy certain content from an older version of Revit:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rpvbnTgjjlo&list=UUhjE1VN4k4gjyJ5-LXw6SQA&index=1

Best of luck to you
