Copy and Paste Views, from Sheet to Sheet

Copy and Paste Views, from Sheet to Sheet

Ctrl-V and Ctrl-C was learned by most of us,  shortly after we began walking. Why has Autodesk not yet embraced this most basic of tools at the SHEET level???

Instead-- We are left with "Some elements were not copied. Cannot copy element."

I saw someone suggested guide grids for lining up Plans from Sheet to Sheet. Paste-in-Place, from Sheet to Sheet is a MUCH better function to enable.

We use this for project setup ....  http://www.rushforthprojects.com/

Autodesk can't just go and copy this IP cause they would have to pay. They don't want to pay, so they make users pay.

But yes, Autodesk should allow copy/paste of some sort with auto duplication/rename of the new view.

@ Nick.Loeper ‎: As far as i know, in Revit one view can be assigned to one sheet only. Cannot have the same view on multiple sheets. You can duplicate a view, rename it and assign it to another sheet. E.g> View 1 goes on Sheet 1, 'Copy of View 1' goes on Sheet 2, etc. This rule keeps things in simple order. I would love an automatic tool for sheet generation based on predefined template, like creating details for first floor, then Revit to automatically create similar sheets for all the other floors. You can create some automatic views by using Revit add-ins like Graitec or Sofistik.
