Complex line types

In Revit the  lines types you can have is really pathetic compared to AutoCADs - dashes, dots and continious lines. (And the ofcourse the Insulation that has its own button to make, and the revision cloud if that counts...). Would be very helpful to be able to make various line types with shapes in 2d - like tracks, talus and I thing that was already suggested - with text in it. Out from deperation (again) we are using detail line family with text in it to display  ELEC, HYDRO, Xs (for fence), etc... but comes a curve and there the solution stops. We are also forced to do untinkable things to a surveyors drawings in order to preserve their line types in Revit.

The problem is that Autodesk points back at the Idea board. If it's not listed here, with a bunch of votes, it's doesn't exist as a issue🙈

@ViviNyehuusAndersen I know. But when you open a case an employee from Costumer Support has to take time to read the case and respond to it. I tend to go back-and-forth a bit to 1. make it very clear it's an issue 2. waste their time.

There are over 2,000 votes on this idea. Imagine if each and everyone of them opens a support case.

We need the ability to create custom line types and patterns with text and symbols, for example -X-X-X- for fencing, or | | | | | | |  to differentiate alternate fire escape route. 

AutoCAD has had this for many, many years. Please work with them to figure this out.
