Quiere decir:

colour/color of sectioned object by object not poche

colour/color of sectioned object by object not poche

Working on a project where we are showing sections of objects in 3D. One is Red and one is Blue. When you set poche material to red the blues objects looks odd, and when you set poche material to blue then the red objects look odd. A transparency filter is also set per object(both red and blue) for representation purposes

It would be handy if when creating 3D sections with a 3D  box that the cut colour of the object would be as per the object color

removed transparency for test and clarity

surely object color X when cut in half would still be color X and not color Y? Hope with screen shots supplied this is now clear?!?!?!

@kimberly_fuhrman-jones please combine this with Invert & multiple section Boxes - Autodesk Community as it on the subject of 3D sections boxes unless you consider it as a separate issue

@wr.marshall  I think this is unique enough with the color factor to remain a separate Idea. Thank you for the suggestion!

I was checking to see if there was any resolution in 2023 and noticed I wasn't getting the same result as above. Then Replicated in 2022, 2020 and 2018 which I still have installed with the same result of not having it show the poche color. I done some digging on here(forums) and google and found that it's a coarse pattern and that the moment you set the detail level to medium or fine you no longer get the coarse poche color.

@kimberly_fuhrman-jones can you move this to the Architectural Forum please.
