Change Revit so that it doesn't change the default PDF color settings when selecting Black Lines print setting

Whenever we set prints to print Black Lines it changes the default settings of the PDF printer to B&W. This is annoying because we like to print black lines but with the printer set to color so that images in the titleblock or of renderings will still print in color, while having linework print as black lines. This seems like such a simple change, just have Revit not change the default settings of the PDF printer.

I couldn't get if you already know about this workaround but here it is: You pressed the Setup and set the Colors setting to Black Lines, then hit OK and came back to Print window again. At this point if you go to Printer Properties and set it to Color and then NOT go to Setup again it should print the images with colors and lines with black.

This doesn't work for Grayscale, though.

I agree with you, we need this as a feature for both Print and Pdf Export

Yes, I am aware of that workaround but we are trying to automate our printing so that won’t work when we run our print automations.
