ceiling by face
it would be greet if we can create floor, roof & ceiling by face on mass like walls and enable all lighting, low current , HVAC & plumping fixtures to host easily on any unformed ceiling
and also enhance to attach walls to masses even it was completely horizontal or vertical ( in case it was vertical Revit just edit the profile )
also add to mass the ability to split faces with out the mass exploded to its original lines
Definitely it would be great if we can generate uncommon ceiling shapes by using massing assemblies. However,

Regarding MEP issue to “Host” fixtures easily, ceiling fixtures might be hosted on a suitable named reference plane so it's easier to place & even if the architect doesn't have the ceilings modeled, MEP layouts could be started.
