I would like to be able to calculate the surface areas of wall materials, separately for different wall types, (not including any wall thickness). Currently, Revit seems only to measure the length of the wall to the join. I've seen that there are work arounds by separating the walls into parts or painting, but I haven't seen either of these work for what I need. Ideally, I would like to calculate the areas using parameters in a schedule, using width, height & area for the exterior surface of a wall, corner to corner or to the end point of a material.
