Calculate automatically the volume or weight on a steel family
Hi guys,
I have a situation.
Could you please help me on a situation regarding a parameter of mass and how can I use it, so that when I load the family in a project I get the weight value automatically on a steel structure (see the below screen).
@silviobrother: Revit needs such mass / weight parameter for all materials. We need this parameter for rebars
too. Badly. For Aluminium profiles in courtain walls too. (because aluminium is quite expensive and needs exact provision). For steel assemblies and concrete prefab cages too.
Still , you can obtain your weight by using calculated values in schedules. Not ideal, but doable.
