CAD library converter
Every office & manufacturer has a CAD library. If you want to convert to a Revit detail component it is manual process with tedious renaming of linetypes, Hatch patterns, visibilty setting & cleaning up too small elements.
If you could automate process with rules\mapping\scripting tool like with the DWG exporter you could process hundreds of cad details that then make Revit far more attractive to Autocad diehards...and maybe keep the benefit of years of design knowledge.
Thanks for taking the time to submit your idea. Unfortunately, this idea did not get the support of the community over the last 6 months and as such we will not be pursuing it at this time. Please feel free to rework (titles and clear descriptions are really important) and resubmit this one down the road.
