Using Revit 2022 for structural engineering, when it comes to detailing steel connections, still has a lot of edge cases that are difficult to deal with.
One edge case is asymmetrical placement of bolted connections, in this case concerning base plates.
In the attached example you can see three sets of bolts symmetrically placed around their corresponding I beam columns, but one single bolt is still required in the top right corner. The built in base plate parameter options do not allow this, as the grouping of further groups are identical to the placement of the first bolt group already placed in layout and symmetry. (This is another issue: unable to place external bolt groups outside the columns on opposite ends with varying off-sets).
The current work-around is drawing in a single bolt on a plan view when detailing, but this defeats the purpose of full 3D modeling. Thank you.
