Arc leader option for Keynotes

Arc leader option for Keynotes

Would be nice in Keynote to have an option for arc leaders. Right now I have to use the Text command to create the arc leader. Defeats the purpose of Keynotes when our office standards are arc leaders.

Our office standards require that all text use arc leaders. We REALLY need arc leader functionality added to detail item tags so we have the ability to tag detail items without having to manually type in all our text entries. This is a firm standard and it really drags that we can't have this functionality for tags and keynotes. Please Autodesk!!

Any update on this? Does Revit 2018 have this feature?

Curved leaders, please!

Arc leaders are possible for text, why not keynotes? Leaders have traditionally been curved to differentiate them from lines in the graphics, and to improve the legibility of drawings. Since the whole purpose of construction documents is to communicate intent, anything that improves legibility is incredibly valuable to the project. Please provide curved leaders for keynotes!

This is ridiculous Revit has been out for over a decade and this is still an issue. This is a office standard at the firm I work for and a work around is cumbersome and inhibits productivity.

There needs to be consistency for leaders in Revit.  Arc leaders are important as most building are full of straight lines.  Arc leaders help the eye pickout the leader from among all the straight lines.  It's great we have this for text, but we use tags as much as we can and are stuck with using two different leader styles on projects.  One for tags, the other for text notes.

Frustrating to still have no solution for this. How does one streamline and use the software to it's most beneficial if we can't even get something as simple as a curved leader for notes?!?!  My firm does not accept inconsistent leaders and this leads to added work and complications. oh how I wish I could just use the software as it was intended instead.

This would be immensely helpful.  Same for multi-category tags.   Not having this as a feature really defeats the beauty ( quality management, ease, and speed) of being to use tags vs stand alone text.  Please really consider this for an update to 2020 or any new release.  Thank you very much

It's been many years, still Revit doesn't have this curved option. Please make it happen it's not so complicated thing. We need just a Keynote check box for curved style

@kimberly_fuhrman-jones, congrats on the "-" by the way!!

I think this idea should be merged with https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/revit-ideas/curved-leaders/idi-p/7491390. Although this one is technically older, that idea is more generic and asks for the same thing for ALL tags.
