Add parameters to Revision
If we could add Parameters to Revisions (Shared etc.) then most companies could do revisions they way they want. We are currently limited but the fixed parameters.
Ideally when we add parameter we could choose if they are Visible in the Revision on Sheet Dialog.
It would be very usefull to be able to add more colums in the Revision schedule.
I often need to add more information about who made the revision who checked and approved, up to 3 more than what is possible.
so it could be an good idear to add something like "User 1" , "User 2", "User 3"
so that you don't have to put in parameters that are locked to a special line in your titleblock, that are to be "manual" edited, and remembered to be moved when the schedule lines are filled out.
Its verry often an irritating and time eating issue
Your idea is reaching the 7 year mark which is about the average time it takes for Autodesk to even recognize the idea. So maybe by Revit 2025 we'll get something!
We have a client who needs 7 parameters in the revision schedule - the usual 5 plus an "Approved By" set of initials and a project number as the drawings are ongoing building records that are updated with every minor project so they want to identify the project that triggered the revision to the drawing/building.
Both would be simple text without trying to extract the value from a parameter elsewhere in the project.
And the dates should be a proper date data type, not text.
