Add option to select which type to use when inserting duplicate type.

Add option to select which type to use when inserting duplicate type.

When inserting objects and the object type already exists, the warning dialog says "type from existing project will be use." Users can select OK or Cancel. It would be nice to be able to opt and update. If I have duplicate text types, I may want the inserted type to override and update the model I'm pasting into.

This would be AWESOME (no more "..1" or "..2" Families and Types)! I can't believe more people haven't voted for it - maybe the title needs to be reworded? I get so annoyed with this in projects, because once they're there, they're hard to get rid of (because people tend to use them by mistake and it propagates). If I insert something (and I have the time), I can track down the offending family and replace it (because I know which views I inserted), but other users tend to just ignore the warnings (so later on there's no way of knowing where it's being used, unless by some miracle it's only in one view).

An idea related to this (or at least one that would help us clean up the mess that this idea would prevent) is being able to add the Workset field to Schedules (so we can see what view each Detail Component, etc. is in):
