Add a couple of simple buttons with preset rotation degrees at the rotation tool

Hi all,

an infinite number of times I rotate objects on 90, 180 degrees bases. It will save time if after we select the rotation tool there will be a couple of preset rotation buttons, maybe 90 degrees and 180 degrees.

In the current way, I have to type the degrees I need.

Thanks for your consideration

It's very odd this hasn't happened, yet.

We will want two 90s - one for clockwise and one for anti-clockwise.

You just posted this two weeks ago. What in the world do you mean the rotation button is useless?

It's never used since you have to type out 90 or move the line to 90 degrees. Why not just improve on the idea and add a couple common presets degrees. "(RO) typing 90 or 180" defeats the purpose of the RO button.

We currently have 1 button which allows us to enter a custom rotation angle and define the rotation direction. You want to replace that with multiple buttons because that would be more efficient?

You never use the rotate button... because you have to tell it how much to rotate? What?

If this is a functionality you absolutely must have, get yourself a programmable mouse or keyboard, make a macro for each rotation, and apply it to whatever buttons you want.

Might be a dead thread but I had the same idea. I use a G602 mouse which has programmable buttons. Through the logitech software i made a marco that rotates things 90 with a single click. There's a little delay after the click and before it types 90 so you can move your mouse for CW or CCW.
