Accurate RGB for materials. Change the "Sun Settings" to have a white light option. 10 year + long issue.

PROBLEM: Revit needs to have a realistic view that depicts true RGB values. (Issue for 10+ years)

POSSIBLE SOLUTION: Provide a white light option in the "sun settings".

MORE INFO:

This is necessary for when we're dealing with clients and HOAs that require an accurate depiction of what the colors requested will look like. At this time, all we have is the sun, casting a yellow hue. Now, the sun *does* naturally cast a yellow hue. If you analyze it, RevIt at this time puts a yellow hue, then we place it on a stark white background, making it look even more yellow.

There have been multiple posts on multiple platforms requesting that RevIt shows both accurate color & material (for when we use stone siding, for example). This has been a problem for over a decade. Changing the graphic display settings doesn't achieve this. We have to eyeball. Another, lesser software has this feature. It should be a part of RevIt as well.

There is a new feature coming soon that I think will give you what you want. They're saying they're basically combining the "consistent colors" and "realistic" visual styles to create a new style that shows rendered materials without any change based off of lighting.

That is exactly what I'm hoping to achieve, and have been waiting for! I'd still love to rally support on it so we can make sure it gets implemented.
