Ability to tag stacked walls

Ability to tag stacked walls

Being unable to tag the entire stacked wall as one entity in plan is inconvenient and detracts from what could be a very powerful tool. Workarounds are cumbersome. Being able to tag each component of the wall in section is not good enough.

What would be helpful would be a single tag that lists each wall type that has been combined to compose the stacked wall. Another option would be the stacked wall forming an entirely new wall type with a unique tag. However this is done would be a great help for us.

Currently when you have a stacked wall system you can tag each indivudual wall but you cannot tag the whole system.  We want to be able to tag the entire system.

Agreed. Personally, if I had to choose an option I would prefer that a particular stacked wall type have a single, unique Type Mark value. But a unique Wall Tag - Stacked that lists the included types would also be welcomed.

True, @Viveka_CD. The Forum thread that you quote only shows workarounds - not a real solution. It's a solution that I ask for/

Agreed @Sahay_R, the thread link will help the IDEAS team get more details and for future consideration. Please gather support from your colleagues as well.

The ability to tag a stacked wall type as one object is desperately needed! Also the ability to add type properties to stacked wall types.

Allow stacked walls to be treated as 1 wall and tagged accordingly instead of tagging each wall type within a stacked wall assembly.

One of the ideas forwarded by fellow users was using the commentary box to make it appear in schedules, but that also seems to have disappeared from the options, its just stays grayed out.

Stumbled upon this suggestion / thread while looking for a way to tag stacked walls as a system reading an instance parameter - no such luck in 2023. Voted this suggestion up for future Revit releases.

Hoping that this gets implemented!

Can we please get the ability to element keynote different parts of a stacked wall and walls that have sweeps/reveals incorporated??  It's crazy that this isn't a thing yet ...
