Ability to define room bounding elements in familes.

Right now room bounding can only be defined at the project level.  There are occasions where the ability to mark a family as room bounding (or not room bounding) would be helpful.

Custom openings

• We use a family instead of the wall opening tool because it will phase correctly, and is easier to control the size and location of a family.  There are also instances where a repetitive custom opening would be required (arches, etc.)  Depending on the design, these are often not room bounding.  
• For example an alcove in a structural wall.  Because the opening family is treated as room bounding the room does not report it's area correctly

Yes! We've had cases where we would have needed room-bounding beams, for example.
