Ability to Control Object Styles of Links in the Manage Links Dialog

If I want MEP objects from the MEP linked file to display a certain way, more than likely I want it to appear that way in all the various types of views (Floor Plans, Elevations, Sections, Roof Plans, etc.).  But I cannot change that setting for that entire linked file in one place.  I have to change those settings in each of my different view templates.  Or worse yet, if I'm not using view templates, I have to change it in every view I have.  Object Styles are by project.  They are the project wide display settings.  So why can't we set the Object Style overrides of the entire link from the Manage Links dialog?

Please make this work.  This would help a lot.

Along with the ability to control the object styles of linked models, it would be great to be able to turn off entire categories or sub-categories of the linked in models.  This total global control of the linked model object styles would take care of not only this idea, but I believe would satisfy the desires of several other related ideas at the same time.
