Ability to choose which Design Options are assigned to Annotation

Users would like to have more flexibility to which design options dimensions or annotations have been assigned.

At the moment, a dimension connected to an item, e.g. a wall, disappears after a change of Design Options, which is logical:

For other Annotate, users would like to be able to change from the Properties Palette to which Design Options is assigned e.g. for Text:

It would be good if revit respected the dimensions allocated to the design options, as shown in the GIF attached.

I have a similar issue where material tags tagging materials inside design options are orphaned when opening up a model, even though the view is set to that particular design option.  As soon as I toggle to activate the design options, the tags reassociate.  This is incredibly problematic behavior if we are printing large sets.

I have submitted this issue to our developers for further investigation. Your particular instance sounds like a bug. What version of Revit are you using?
