I currently use a mass family to link in 3D CAD Strings to create a solid form along the line with profiles. It would be beneficial if I could acquire coordinates within this family that could load straight into my project in the correct location.
Maybe this helps you. My company (CTI) is releasing a new App "Coordinate Locator" which allow you to locate markers at any coordinate (X,Y,Z) based in project base point, survey point or internal origin. Will be available in a few weeks for Revit 18, 19, 20 and 21.
