For more than a decade, users have begged for the ability to see the entire text of a sheet note or part number in the edit schedule view. For more than a decade, this request has been ignored, because we are all clearly wrong. The necessity of scrolling horizontally through a partial view of multiline text, then switching back to the sheet view to check our work clearly gives us more time to contemplate our text and carefully proof them a few words at a time.
So that Autodesk engineers and shareholders can enjoy this productivity gain, I propose that the word wrap display option be removed from their programming design environment.
