2nd Row of Tabs

2nd Row of Tabs

Whenever you have a lot of tabs open, eventually you run out of tabs and have to use this odd drop down arrow to the right of the tabs... My team has proposed that when you run out of space, it should just start a 2nd row of tabs underneath the first row!

Instead of just one row of open view tabs, provide multiple rows of view tabs so that more open view tabs can be visible.

Each open project's view tabs could be in a different row.

Allow users to select the maximum number of view tab rows they want to display, with a scroll bar / arrows to scroll down to more open views.

Use the middle mouse button to pan open view tabs left and right, and to pan up and down to multiple view rows.

Provide sort options for open view tabs - Sort by project, by view name, by sheet number, by view type, by last viewed, etc.

It seems that this is already implemented in one of the add-ons in the Autodesk App Store.

The plugin costs money, a free plugin or implementation of this feature into revit itself would be preferable

If multiple views and sheets are opened, they are not all visible. It would be nice if they were visible on a line below. How do I achieve that?

Instead of hiding open windows in the Switch Window Button, allow the open window tabs to wrap/stack to a second line.  Having more than 5 window tabs available to select from the top menu on a standard 27" work monitor would increase productivity and eliminate the need to search for open windows as often.
