File Preview

to whom it may concern,

I have been having issues being able to see my published files in 3D and any sort of PDF sheet previews. Is this a common problem?

Hi Hercules,

  • Can you tell me if you're using Collaboration for Revit (C4R) here to publish your files into a BIM 360 Team hub and you're not able to view them at all?
  • Or, is it just the 3D views that are not working but the 2D sheets do?

  • Can you send us any of the public downloadable file links so that we can see what you're seeing as well?
Thanks,
Brett Wright

Yes, I am on C4R. just starting actually and testing it out before my entire team jumps in on it. What you described is exactly what I am seeking answer for because I have my publish settings to do all the sheets on the projects and a 3D view. Unfortunately I only see the 3D after I publish another version and try to open a previous version. As for the 2d I can't see them at all.

This is what I get on the latest version of my published model:

This is what I see when I open a previous version:

I would appreciate your help.
Thanks!

hi Ana,

Thank you for letting me know that C4R is part of your process here.

I'm going to move this post over into that Teams Forum so they can engage directly with you to assist you further.

Stay tuned, and have a great day 🙂

Thanks,

Hi Ana,

Would it be possible for you to e-mail me a public link to the file on BIM 360 Team so I can do some testing?  You can e-mail it to adam.peter@autodesk.com  Hopefully we can get to the bottom of the issue.

thanks,
