Upgrading Files from Revit 2014 to 2016

I am working on a project that has 4 Central Models Structure, Interior, Facade & Architecture.

I recently upgraded to Revit 2016.

I tried upgrading files from 2014 to 2016.

All files got upgraded except for the Interior.

I tried upgrading it almost 15 times but eveytime it gives me an error "An unrecovarable error has occured. The program will now be terminated. All of your data has been recently saved, so there is no need to create recovery files". Attached is the snapshot of the error.

All my work is at halt because the most important model was Interior. We have already worked a lot on other models and cant go back to our backups and redo everything.

If anyone has a solution, please help me. Its urgent !!

Thanks a ton in advance.

could you attach the journal so we can analyze what happened during upgrading?

Thanks,

Thanks for your concern and response !!

As the file upgrade was urgent, I tried every possible thing and I got lucky.

I audited my Revit 2014 file which had some corrupted families.

I saved it and then audited again while importing it in Revit 2016 and it went through smoothly.
