Updated to the latest desktop connector, now cloud workshared projects will not open (with no error message)

I recently upgraded my desktop connector to version 16.5.0.2083, and now I can't open the cloud workshared project that I have been working on. It starts to open and download links, but after about 2 minutes it just stops trying and takes me back to the revit homescreen without showing an error message. Reading through forum posts for a while it seems like this is not uncommon, however I can't seem to find a good explanation of how to get this particular problem sorted out.

Hi @jmelodyJLDDY 

I recommend rolling back to the Desktop connector version which the models did work on.
