Revit problem

I'm in need of some help. I currently a student at purdue and im in computer graphics class that needs REVIT. So since im student im allowed to access the programs for free to download to my laptop. So i downloaded it and im running into problems with it working properly. Everytime i try to open a file or save file or try to import something REVIT just freezes and doesn't do anything. It will sit and just stay like that for hours. I tried reinstalling it and repairing it and it still doesn't work . Below i have attached my computer specs and the screen it stay on and freezes. Any help would be appreciated so i can get it to work.

Hi,

Didn't see much from the journal but I can see that your system have dual graphics (Intel 520 and Nvidia GeForce).

Could you please verify that Revit is configured to use the GeForce graphics:

- Launch the Nvidia Control Panel

- Select "Manage 3D Settings"

- Select the "Program Settings" tab

- Select "Autodesk Revit" in the drop down "Select a program to customize"

- - If Revit is not in the list, select "Add" and browse to "C:\Program Files\Autodesk\Revit 2016" and select Revit.exe

- Make sure the "Select the preferred graphics..." is set to "High-performance NVIDIA"

I did that and made sure everything was correct. Still not working properly.
