Revit on Mac using Parallels problem with hardware acceleration

Having problems with using revit as i can not enable the hardware acceleration.

Running revit 2017 on my mac using Parallels 13 and Windows 10 64bits

RAM: 8GB

You run a Virtual machine, not surprising Hardware Acceleration doesn't work.  Run it in Bootcamp.  Also, 8GB is about the RAM of a smartphone.  Get 16GB at least.

Hi Marta,

 

Unfortunately, Parallels does not support DirectX 11 which is the minimum graphics hardware requirement for Revit. Much of Revit functionality replies on Shaders, so the DirectX 11 capabilities are required for properly displaying Revit views. It would be up to the Parallels team to add this support.
