We have a 2022 model hosted on ACC that is linking in a number of details from dwg files also on ACC. (Desktop connector)
We are linking the files into drafting views and then placing on sheets
This morning a user made a small edit to each DWG and saved them back to their desktop connector.
After reloading the DWG into Revit 1 DWG was no longer visible in the drafting view. Manage links still shows the file loaded and the path is correct.
The user removed the linked file and added it back in. File loaded correctly, but then the previous file in line alphabetically did the same thing.
We also tried loading the file without removing first and got a warning after selecting the file that the file could not be located at that path.
This repeated till I opened the Revit file and deleted of the bad drafting views, recreated it and linked the dwg detail back in. This stopped the files from disappearing.
So its this a Desktop connector issue or a Revit view issue? I cannot believe that we had a bunch of bad views. Maybe 1 or 2? More than that unlikely
