Error communicating to A360 collaboration for Revit

Hi Everyone,

We had sent our case last Tuesday to Autodesk regarding our concern with Revit. We had purchased new license for Revit Subscription,

the recent version Revit 2017 was provided, but since we are currently using the Revit 2016 bundled on our BDS to connect to A360 collaboration we then requested for the previous version of 2016, hence they supplied us a seperate version of Revit MEP,Structural and Architectural 2016 version.

We then installed the supplied software together with A360 collbarotion for Revit - but we couldn't see anymore the porject at A360 " it shows only loading"; We tried all the 3 Revit package supplied but still fails to connect with C4R. We don't have problem using Revit 2016 bundled with BDS connecting with C4R.

We would appreciate any help.

HI Rodel,

The different flavors of Revit should work fine with C4R, I suspect that there might be some configuration issue, version mismatch or something similar.

Just to make sure I got this correct:

- You are currently using Revit 2016 with C4R and have no problems

- If you install one of the 'flavors' (Arch, Struct, Mep) and C4R, you just the the 'Loading...." when you try to browse for your projects?

- Are you installing the separate versions on the same system or on different systems?

- What version of 2016 and C4R are you using - have you installed the updates for the separate versions of 2016?  Sometimes a 'older' version of Revit with a newer version of C4R will cause

You also have to install separate updates for every version installed on your system (one for Arch, one for MEP....).

 - Could you attach a journal here from an attempt to open a project? It might gives us some more clues what might be wrong.

Regards
