Hi, I'm new to revit. Just wondering, if I sync, does that mean it automatically saves the model? Or would I need to save first, then sync.

Hi, Sync with central covers local save.

Please refer to the following as synchronize process.

The synchronize process involves the following steps:

  1. Save the local file (STL).
  2. Download the latest version of the file from the server (RL).
  3. Propagate the changes to elements in the local model (i.e. update the model with the changes) (DP).
  4. Save the local file again (STL).
  5. Upload the updated model to the server (STC).
