Difference in File Size between Local Cache & Actual Saved Model (Revit 2023). Way larger than before.

I found when a Revit 2023 (Cloud Worksharing) model is saved to a Local Drive, its file size is different from its local file in cache.

It has been slightly different with previous Revit versions but the difference has become quite large with Revit 2023. For example, one Local File shows 805MB, whereas "Save-As" model shows 474MB.

Can anybody explain why this happens and how to get correct file size of a cloud model without saving it to local drive?

(I am trying to find the way how Dynamo can get the data automatically.)

Thank you

hi

i think your save as model is compress by default.

try to create a new central file from the save as and do some works on, im pretty sure the file will grow again.
