Desktop Connector Issue on one machine - not on the other.

We are having an issue on one machine where Desktop Connector seems to be having an issue.

User believes he has access and permissions set for the job, but he cannot seem to upload a model.

Is this possibly and issue with the version of the Revit, or perhaps permissions have issues?

In the screen shot, I show from two machines... one can access appropriately and the other machine cannot.

In effort to fix, we:

  • ran updates on both Revit and Desktop Connector.
  • Additionally, we had him close revit and I removed entitlement to BIM Collaboration Pro and then re-assigned the entitlement.

Neither effort worked to fix the issue.

See image attached.

Not sure what the issue is. Can you confirm that both users have the same permissions re: this model?

We have discovered the issue is caused by an add-in.  In this case Trimble SysQue.

We could have temporarily disabled any of it's several dozen add-ins but chose instead to uninstall.

This fixed the issue.  Looking into which of its add-in is causing the grief and working with Trimble Support to find the solution.

Should have figured this previously but did not.  This page caused us to look at this.
