CR4 version updates

We were told by Autodesk not to mix CR4 version across team member in our hub for it could cause model corruption.  However, we might have learned the hard way.  We think that one of our Team Members that links into our hub is a consultant and they were using the older CR4 v2.  They also belong to other Architectural Firms as consultants.  One of those firms requested they upgrade to the latest version of CR4 v5 and they did.  We think by doing this on our end now our entire team but him is still running v2.  Is this a problem that needs to be address or is the solution to always migrate to the latest versions of CR4.

Thanks, M

not only the c4R install, but also make sure everyone, everwhere in your world is using the EXACT same Revit build#.

we also learned that the hard way too. Smiley Frustrated

Thank you for your post.  In this case, that would be correct in that you would want to be on the same version for all users.  We would advise users be on the same version for collaboration and effective communication within the project file.  This issue is one that our development team has monitored and continues to review for future builds, but again at this time, we would advise you run the same version for effective collaboration.  For reference I have included our development product feedback link for reference with our development team for conversation and future consideration in product releases. This can help build momentum and the case for this change in a future build to help in future project collaboration.  As always, if there are any other questions, please do not hesitate to post here in our forums, and our staff and skilled contributors, would be happy to help.  Thank you again, and again, we are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause, but the version platform is essential for collaboration.
