COVID-19, BIM 360 Desg via borrowed Revit lic and VPN performance down.

Due to this COVID-19 dilemma we are finding ourselves in, we have a growing number of people working from home. Most are on Cloud worksharing models with Revit 2019.

I have told these users that theoretically they should be able to work without connecting to VPN since their model is cloud based and they have a borrowed Revit license.

However, they are telling me that they are finding that performance goes down the tubes without the VPN.

I did some checking and the below page... does it apply?  ... and would I do well to install this?

Hello @mdhutchinson, thank you for the question.

Yes! That is an important hotfix for your users to install. Without that hotfix installed, the 2019 product versions with borrowed network/multi-user licenses will hang up every minute or two while waiting to hear back from the license server (if there is an Internet connection).

@mdhutchinson  Have you been able to apply the hotfix and confirm that the Revit performance improves?

I've not had anyone that has offered any input... yet that is.

That sounds potentially promising, as I would expect if the poor performance were still occurring people would provide feedback about it.
