Content Catalog ghost account

Hi everyone!

Today, when I tried to access Content Catalog, I was no longer able to log in. It appears that the web interface is redirecting me to a "ghost" or invalid account every time I attempt to open the platform, preventing me from accessing the correct hub (snips below).

No permissions or access settings were changed prior to this issue.

To troubleshoot, I've already:
  • Cleared cache on my computer.
  • Signed out and back into all Autodesk applications (Desktop Connector, Autodesk Access, and my Autodesk account).
  • Tried accessing the platform using an incognito browser window.
  • Cleared my browser's cookies and site data.

Someone else having this issue?
Thank you!

Hello,

Have you checked with your Hub/Account Administrator? It appears that your permissions may have been changed.

If that is not the case, please review the solution below:

an SSO/account-mapping mismatch on the backend, if your organization signs into Autodesk via SSO. Autodesk documents this exact "SSO logs into the wrong account or creates a duplicate" behavior as coming from incorrect attribute-mapping or faulty Active Directory values for a specific user — which would explain why it's affecting your account specifically and why local fixes (cache, incognito) don't resolve it, since the redirect is decided server-side before your browser ever gets a say. If that's your setup, it's worth having your IT/Autodesk admin check whether a duplicate Autodesk ID exists tied to your email, or whether attribute mapping needs correcting.

A useful diagnostic in the meantime: try logging into Content Catalog from a completely different device and network (e.g., your phone on cellular data, no VPN/SSO). If it works cleanly there, it strongly points to the local cache file on your machine or a corporate SSO/network path being the trigger, rather than a genuinely broken or deleted account

Hi Mahmoud! It just got solved, apparently there was an issue with the internet network blocking some pages, Content Catalog being one of them.
Thank you so much for the reply, what you mention is good to have in mind!
