Cannot publish or manage projects on A360

Greetings

So once again I have to issue an addendum and once again I cannot access to publish my model.

I downloaded all the latest updates and I have V3

I also looked around and found some update for CR4 and updated that.

Thanks!

A360 Team is down right at the moment.  Sorry for the hassle here.  If you haven't already, please sign up for the Autodesk "Health Subscription" here at the Autodesk Health Dashboard

This is a good place to check when having BIM 360 (A360) Team or Collaboration for Revit (C4R) or other cloud issues, to see if we are encountering performance issues at our end.  You can subscribe for email notifications. Note too that you can check History there, for previous dates.

This should clear up soon and allow you to work with this again shortly.

ADSK - We're hoping ADSK will be presenting a solution/fix to these C4R issues and outages, Fast. The outages are causing serious delays to mission critical work getting done and delivered to our clients and projects. If C4R is not, or is not intended for, mission-critical work, then please lets us know. If C4R is still in Beta, please let us know and for how much longer is it forecasted to be in Beta. The frequency of the outages is becoming unacceptable.

Feel free to contact me for more info.

Sincerely,

-md

No. Still receiving same error.

I suppose I can go back to using Dropbox or wetransfer to share my model with clients.

Sorry that didn't clear it up for you.  If you're simply trying to transfer files, Box, Dropbox, Google Drive are good options -I've used them all.  But I'm happy to assist you further with the A360 problem. If you'd like, please private message me your phone number and I'll give you a call.

So as of this posting date, the current build of Revit 2016 is update 7 for R2, build 16.0.1185.0

The most recent for Autodesk Collaboration for Revit 2016, is version 8, build 16.0.1185.0 (that build number can be checked in Windows Programs and Features)

Updating to the most current version of Collaboration for Revit 2016 may resolve this.

That link for v8 is currently not coming up in a Google search, so here is again for everyone's convenience:  Autodesk Collaboration for Revit 2016

I installed the V8 using he link you sent and I still have the same issue.

Do I need to clear some C4R cache or I need to delete my model on the BIM360 site where it is hosted?

Here is a snip of my build and the folder with the C$R V8 update.

Although I am unsure which of the two structural files I am to install?

R2 or R2U7?

To get the newest version to install I had to go to Control panel and uninstall the older version, THEN install the new version.

I am able to publish to the A360 project I was working on.

Thanks to Martin for assisting me in resolving this issue!

Hi Sean,

I'm glad we were able to take another look at this together. So it turns out that Collaboration for Revit (C4R) 2016 version 8 did not install over the top of the old version of C4R.  So we had to uninstall the older C4R first.  Then C4R v. 8 successfully installed.

So the steps were:

  1. Uninstall earlier version of C4R through Windows Programs and Features
  2. Download and install C4R v8 from here: Autodesk Collaboration for Revit 2016
  3. After install, check Windows Programs and Features again to confirm it says "Autodesk Collaboration v8 for Revit 2016"
  4. Then test Revit 2016 to verify it can see BIM 360 Team in the Manage A360 Models

We confirmed that this fixed it for you. Hopefully this works for any others having a similar problem.

Same problem:

"A360 projects that contain A360 models cannot be retrieved at this time. Please try again later."

Uninstalled C4R 2017 pluigin

Reinstalled latest pluigin

Healthdesk does not indicate any issues.

This has persisted for >24 hours

I am able to access the model published to BIM360 but it doesn't matter because those are not current.

Can we get a Revit Journal of a Revit session that experienced this issue?  That would be good for us to investigate.

Hi ktracy01,

When you say "Reinstalled latest pluigin" - what version was that and where did you install that from?

Was that the version that is posted on Autodesk.com (Autodesk_Collaboration_v2_for_Revit_2017.exe )?

If so, that is not the correct version, that version is for Revit 2017.0, not 2017.1. With 2017.1 and up, we are shipping the new C4R clients together with the service pack for Revit.

What you need to do is:

1. Uninstall the current C4R for Revit 2017

2. Look in Documents\Autodesk Application Manager on your system. In one of the folders in there you should have a file named "Autodesk_Revit_2017.1.exe"

3. Dbl-click on it, if you get a dialog with "Modify Setup", click on Uninstall.

4. When the uninstall is done, run it again and it should now install the correct version of C4R

Regards
