Can't delete old models

We have a project where one of the engineers is not using BIM 360 and C4R so I have to manually upload his new models on a weekly basis and since BIM 360 doesn't let you overwrite the existing cloud model I am forced to rename the cloud model and then upload the new one. The problem is that no matter what I try I cannot delete the old models. I tried opening the file relinquishing, syncing, relinquishing from the manage models tab, publishing it first and then deleting but they all fail. I don't see any way to submit a support case to Autodesk for BIM 360 so I don't know what else to do. We are using Revit 2016 with all the latest service packs.

Hello kmatis,

My name is Riccardo, I am a Revit specialist, try this Workaround and let me know if it works.

  1. Open the C4R model
    2. Synchronize it
    3. Republish it.
    4. Delete the model from within Revit.

Kind regards

Hello and thanks for the posts!

We as a team have implemented some service side improvements in regard to publishing this week that should see a much better success rate in publishing moving forward.  Please let us know if you run into any new instances as we would be keen to understand where we might still be seeing failures.
