BIM360 Team Move Dialog Issue

Hello BIM360 Team patrons,

I have a dilemma and wondering if anyone has found a workaround. It seems that if you have numerous projects in BIM360 Team hub and need to move a particular file to another folder, you are unable to do so as the Move/Cancel buttons are moved off screen due to the length of the project list. There is no scroll bar on the dialog. I have expanded my browser window as large as it can go.  If I open the move dialog, the buttons are visible until I expand one of the projects. I need to move the model into a subfolder, but am unable to do so.  How does one go about moving a project file in this case?

See attached image as an example.  Please tell me there is a workaround for this?

Anyone?  Does no one have this number of projects sitting out in their hub?

Hi Routman,

I began looking into what you are seeing earlier this afternoon. I started by creating a bunch of additional projects on my Hub. Then I selected a file to move and the Move screen opened up. For me the move dialog stayed confined to the screen regardless of the magnification I view it at, see below:

100% magnification:

M1.JPG

67% magnification:

M2.JPG

In both instances the buttons remained on the screen. In fact I also don't have the ability to move the dialog at all.

Perhaps one thing to try if the buttons are off the screen is to change the magnification of your browser window by holding the CTRL button on your keyboard and scrolling out using your mouse.

Please select the Accept as Solution button if my post solves your issue or answers your question.

Thanks Brian,

I can confirm that when changing the magnification the buttons do come back.  It seems you have a scroll bar where I do not in the image I posted.

The original screen snip was taken using Internet Explorer 11.  I checked it out in Edge and the buttons and scroll bars where both available.  So it seems to be a browser related issue.

Any chance we can get some consistency between browsers?

Thanks for looking into this!

Hi Routman,

No problem, I'm happy to help. Also thanks for letting me know which browser you're using. I tend to use Chrome as a default and hadn't run into this before. After reading your response though I did test using IE 11 and saw the same thing you're seeing. However when I did access my Hub using IE I received the following message:

So it appears that while most features work in IE without issue, you may run into things like you've encountered occasionally.

In any event I'm glad that we found a couple of options to get you past this.
