Access Denied: You no longer have access to the model.

Hi.

I have been working through C4R and after a few hours if I leave the model alone and try to continue work I will get the following error:

"You no longer have access to the model.

You have been removed from the collaboration project and can no longer access this model."

This also sometimes happens when I try to open the model first thing in the morning and then after 3-4 tries it stops giving me the error and opens the file.

I am one of the "Editors" on A360 for this project and have not been removed from the project at any point. Why am I getting this message?

Collaboration for Revit experienced a service degradation this morning and product and operations teams remediated the issue. Please see https://health.autodesk.com/ for additional service information.

As for root cause, it's a little early to comment here, but we will report back here after we have a retrospective meeting this afternoon.

I am getting this model about once a day or so, even though I have not been removed from the project.  Closing out of Revit and reopening seems to let me back into the model, however sometimes I lose work due to this issue.  This has happened on more than one A360 project.  It appears to be an issue with A360.

I am still having the same issue. I don't see a way to fix this other than just not using A360. I ended up detaching the model and just working locally then uploading it every day. Seems to be faster than dealing with these errors.

same issue, A360 seems to be very unstable, we've had multiple issues and they all seem to come up at deadline time. We may need to avoid 360 until they get their act together

I am still experiencing the same error messages and having problems opening A360 files frequently.  Any word on this?

There are no widespread issues with service reliability that we are aware of.  Certainly all of our overall service metrics indicate normal operation.

Because of that, we'd need to grab a Journal of Revit experiencing that message, as that contains data points that we can investigate on the service side.  Without it, we could only speculate.

Hello,

I would like to join the thread. This morning collaboration stopped for me and a few other colleagues. We dont have access to models that are set in the clouds. Different acounts, different pc's/locations.

Yesterday it worked fine. We had no updates within our network/server etc.

But a few other colleages can work without problems - strange.

We suspect that maybe it comes from autodesk, (maintanance, updates etc??)

Regards

It's highly likely that you and your team do not have a C4R subscription associated with your Autodesk IDs.  The timing is related to the Subscription Enforcement that began yesterday.

When you log into manage.autodesk.com with your Autodesk ID, do you see "Collaboration for Revit" in your "Products & Services" section?

Hello,

Ok, thanks for the answer. But I am not sure what do we have to do now. I know i know, i was reading the post a few times but its still not clear for me. We have the full revit which is supposed to have the collaboration option. Does it mean that except for revit we have to buy something more to work the way as we used to?

Regards

A subscription to cloud workshare Revit Models on Collaboration for Revit (C4R) is distinct from a subscription to the Revit product -> it's another subscription on top of Revit itself.

As documented over on the other thread, the C4R product was operating without subscription enforcement for a period while we fixed an entitlement defect, but subscription enforcement started again yesterday.

If you'd like to continue trying out C4R, you're welcome to start a free 60-day C4R trial, which after following the up-and running instructions will allow you to work on cloud workshared models in other BIM 360 Team hubs beyond your trial hub, if you so choose.  If you're in a bind with an existing project, this is simplest option to continue working while you evaluate if you'd like to subscribe to the C4R product.
