A360 Basic, A 360 Team, Revit files Linked, Collaboration problems

Hi,

I hope you are having a good day.

Just a few letter to explain what I have and what I am doing.

I have A360 Drive.

I have A360 basic account.

I have A360 Team account.

I have Revit 2016.

I have the collaboration Add-in.

I have all my files in A360 Drive in order to upload easily into A360 basic or A360Team.

Basically I have three folder (In A360 Drive)

1. One folder contain all Revit Project links ("Childrens"), master site included ("father").

2. One folder for Naviswork files, nwd, nwc.

A360 basic or A360 Team (same structure for both).

1. One folder for the Assemby (Master Site -"Father with Childrens").

2. One folder per Project Link Revit and Naviswork file nwc and nwd.

Problem I have is in Assembly folder when I try to make an Assembly.

Steps I am doing:

1. Open the Master Site (father file).

2. I check the links, I mean I check the links have in the right folder (taking the childrens).

3. I check the "Father" file and the "children" files are in a folder (all togethers).

4. Once I am sure 1,2 and 3 are correct I get in A360 basic or A360 team (same process for both).

5. Get in "Folder Assembly", folder created by I.

6. I click on the little arrow on the left to the Upload.

7. I click Assembly (Icon with 4 little square).

8. A window appears. I click on the folder where father and childrens files are.

9. I chose the father as the leader file.

10. I click upload.

11. I wait for 45 minutes to have the file upload and 20 minutes to get all the views ready.

12. When it is done. I click on the "Assembly file".

13. I check if the childrens are there.

14. I realise the childrens ran away, someone got them 😉 hahaha.

So it was how I started trying to get the file work. After on day without any luck. I thought, well let´s try to link from a External Resources. But I cannot see anything, but it is a different thing.

So, my first question is; in A360 basic or A360 team can I make a file with differents files linked work? If so, could you please tell me what I am doing wrong.

Second question. Collaboration for Revit. C4R.

I have a free trial with A360Team, I have Revit 2016, I got the Collaboration Add-in. Do I need anything else to see how it works? Free trial??

It seems I need anything else, as when I click on "Collaborate on A360" does not work at all. Any idea?

you need a trial of Collaboration for Revit not A360 team they are 2 different services
