unable to dimension walls that meet at angles

hi guys,

 

im relativly new to revit 2016 but have spent at least an hr trying to solve this seemingly basic problem.

 

i cannot mannage to annotate / dimension the angled wall or the adjoining walls.

 

any help appreciated

When using aligned dimensions you need to hover the mouse/cursor over the end of the angled wall then use the tab key to cycle through the extents. Once you get the small blueinsh dot (end point) left click to select it. (do the same at the other end.) - See screencast below

Thank you so much! This was the best way I've found to do it. The other way is terrible, it's something like "unconnect other walls from the angled wall, than select it and click in the temporary annotation, then Revit will create the permanent annotation. So, you have to connect walls again"

Why so difficult?
