Yes/No Parameter for family text and model text visibility

I created an outlet family and added the yes/no parameter to model text to show the options (GFI, 220, USB, etc.) but I don't want the 3D text to actually show up in 3D. Is there a way to change the visibility to not show up in anything other than a plan view?

I tried originally just adding plain text, but can't figure out how to get the text on any parameter. Does anyone know how to add plain text to a yes/no parameter?

I've attached the outlet file as well to help.

You can assign the model text to a subcategory and turn it off.  However I wouldn't use 3d model text.

Open an OOTB outlet family and see how it is done using label associated with a parameter.

Why Model Text then?  Seems pointless.

...if it has to be Model Text, then put in on a custom Subcategory. That way you can turn the Subcategory off in 3D Views through VGOs.
