Hello guys,
im working on a sewage tretment station, im doing all the units as revit model.
im having serious issues on the site plan, where all the unites should be linked and we can place all the hydraulic interconnections.
my problem is : the coordinates of the georeferenced topografy in revit dosnt match the real coordinates, but in autocad and civil3d its alright.. so, when i publish the coordinates from the site model to the linked models, they hold the right position inside revit, but in a 30 meters range i have a lot of disprenpancy in the coordinates.
im plaining to do the hydraulic and earthwork profiles on Civil3d, but cant figure out whats going on with revit coordinates (im trying to export my 3d revit models to civil3d also, and cant get the rigth position due the discrepancy between the coordinates, the civil 3d model is in the rigth position.)
please help me, im leting some revit screenschots and some civil 3d screenshots for the same coordinates.

such a difference for coordinates in 4 metters
and yes, im using survey point
When you press Acquire Coordinates of DWG Link in Revit, do you get a message saying the Link and Project are sharing the same coordinates?
when i first created the surface, i just imported dwg 3d faces and created the surface that way. i didnt use cad link for that. by the way, the elevations are correct
Select the Survey Point and look at its Properties. Is "Lon" and "Lat" shown?
Can you check and see what elevation value you have for project and survey elevation? Also do you ever use the Relocate project? This Relocate project will mess up the coordinate elevation value.
u say that for the site project or the secondary ones ?
in the main project my survei point its that way
for the secondary projects (units), the value shows up
the elevation value is working fine. when i move the linked project in the site project, the values are updated corectely.
i just cant figure out why my N/S, L/O coordinates dont represent the reallity in the site project

I didn't ask you that. I asked you if your Survey Point Properties had Geolocation data.
no, it shows N/S, L/O, i think its in decimal degrees coordinate, otherwise in cad and civil3d im working with UTm
OK, for that i need to create a CAD link or can i just do that by the cad model i imported to create the surface ?
It needs to be a Link and the Link needs to be positioned relative to the Project. In other words, Link the DWG in and move it. Once it's positioned correctly, Acquire Coordinates.
WORKED FINE ! now i can have my models in civil3d on the rigth position. TY
