Hi everyone,
I have a problem with the calculation of Room perimeter. I have curtain walls and columns in my template.
When I connect the curtain walls and place a room the perimeter is correct as you can see.
If I place a column with axes 200x200, when I place a room the perimeter is correct.
If I place a column with axes 100x100, when I place a room the perimeter is NOT correct.
How can I resolve it? I think this is so important bug of Revit. If someone have the solution please help me.
Thanks

Seems like rounding? Check the value if you set units to 3 decimals? Perimeter, my bad... could you share the file?
Sorry but I can't because the template contais sensible information about the office where I work. Do you need the model or can you try to found a solution without it?
It is an issue with bounding element which has a section smaller than 140x140mm.they tend to act weird...Even with just room separators.
You can work around that by making the two walls non-bounding and adding a room separator instead and drag slide the separator at 1 side just enough to be 140mm from the opposite bounding edge...

I already try this solution, turn off room boundaries from curtain walls and from columns and place room separator. I think this is an importat limit of Revit because I have to spent a lot of time for place room separator. A programm such as Revit mustn't have this limitation.
Thanks for your time.
