Hi all,
I have a question about deciding when I can wrap at ends of walls with a column with the same family wall? or should I Have two types of wall families to this obtain this result?
I have attached an image which illustrates the situation.
Thanks,
Is that column in a Link or live in your file?
If you change the view to Hidden Line, vs Wireframe, how does it look?
If the column enclosure has the same surface layer (i.e. gyp-board), they should join automatedly. If the column is in a link and/or your not using 2025 😉. I will usually just drag the wall a little into the column to hide the end condition.

This?
You want to use an Architectural Column Family.
TIP: Check Automatically Joins Geometry to Walls in Family

FWIW: Keep in mind that if you use this approach, the "wrap" is going to be on the inside of the Architectual Column. In other words, the exterior face of the wrapped finish = the face of the Column.
I left a suggestion on your other thread.
