hi
1.trying to wrap the wall not only at the side but also at the bottom and the top of the wall.
at the plan as you can see the wall wrap good, but at the section the wall doesnt wrap good.
2. as i can see, QTO of the wrap layer doesnt take in cosidiration. am I right?
i mean , if i create QTO wall schedule i can see that all the material area show the same area .
thank you

That's right. Wraps have no BIM value. Cosmetic only.
...btw, have you set your wall closure planes in the window family?
I HATE no BIM solution.
As i understand you can only pick 2 reference lines to be a "closure planes".
i think only about one.
what is the other one?
maybe you have family that do that you can share it with me?
That issue is very important for structural coordination.
my structural consult got confused because of that, now he understand that his wall is minus 10 cm all over.
You don't need more than two. You are wrapping exterior wall layers and wrapping interior wall layers. If you are only wrapping one side, then all you need is one wall closure plane. The wrap will stop at that plane.
....the OOTB windows have a wall closure plane defined in them. Its the Ref. Plane that is named "Inset" I believe.
...Ah! I see. You can't wrap the head. Use the Paint Tool for that. BTW: Wraps do not compute in schedules, so technically it isn't a "BIM" solution.
that works on the sides of a windows/door but not on the top and the bottom.
do you understand what i trying to say?
i add some picture at the post bellow .
Yes. I understand now. I edited post. Hope it helps.
...I'll add that we model our wraps when necessary to report accurately in MTOs. Like I said: wall wraps don't report.
Thank you @barthbradley, now I understand that there is no wrapping at sill and head.
@ToanDN that exactly what Im going to do. need to control the "cut opening " bigger than the windows and add for that all the wrap things.
you're welcome, @amir.aroesti
Tell me something, are you wrapping the entire Rough Opening like your first pictures show? So Window/Door frames cover up and anchor to the surrounding Wrap? That's different. What's the wall, window and door construction? If you don't mind me asking. Maybe tilt-up?
